I am posting some stuff just to show off how kick ass vancouver is. When I saw MSTRKRFT at V Fest, I heard Jesse Keeler say something to the crowd in his headphone-microphone while Neon Knights was playing. It was something along these lines (I couldn't hear him properly): "Vancouver!! How are you doing tonight?!?!" [half-empty audience half-heartedly cheers] .... "i think Vancouver ....... Vancouver is the place for it to happen.....so for those of you who didn't say anything the first time, now is your chance...[waiting for breakdown to finish towards climax] right [more waiting] NOW!" [crowd slightly more heartedly cheers]
So whether or not Jesse was actually making a testament to Vancouver's awesomeness and cultural culturage or a local musical revolution or whatever, I think it is a sick town, so I will post some local talent, including two close friends of mine who are just overflowing with talent all of a sudden.

Jesse Kanda's graphic design name is Humili and while he just got hired at Hi Res, he also is starting his DJ life, with like 5 sweet ableton mixes and a couple mashups. And trust me, he can do it live too. While its a tad dated now, its still my favorite mix of his so checky checky ..

Another good club night is Half-Alive (with raverap extraordinaires Tyler Fedchuk, My!Gay!Husband!, Tony X). And they make good edits, this is one of my favorites, for gimmicky bmore suckers like me:
